Carnival Cruise Review

CARNIVAL CRUISE REVIEW

Back in July we went on our first cruise ever and I feel like I have SO much to share as a first-time cruiser.. (is that even a word? haha). We went on a Carnival Cruise line because we didn’t want to spend a ton of money on something that we 1. didn't know if we would like and 2. didn’t know if one of us would be sick the whole time. But we actually ended up loving it and spent a lot of time on that cruise looking for the next cruise to go on! We definitely want to try out a ton of different cruise lines but this was a good one to start out with!

GETTING ON THE SHIP

We went on Carnival Freedom Ship! This was a four-day cruise where we had one day in the Bahamas, one at their private island, Princess Cay, and then a day at sea! If you are going on your first cruise this felt like the perfect amount of time. You definitely get a feel for what cruising is like plus you get to visit a couple of places.

For checking in we needed to have a negative covid test (this could change at any time), and then we brought passports, driver’s licenses, and our vaccination card, and that was it! Check-in was so easy, we chose the 10:30 AM slot so we had more time on the ship and I am so happy we did that!

One thing I recommend doing is to make sure you have a few things that you might need in a backpack for the first day. We were able to go into our rooms at 1:00 PM and then we didn’t get our suitcases until around 4:00 PM. In a backpack or like a beach/pool bag I would be things like medicines (prescriptions or Dramamine), tampons, cash, maybe a bathing suit, etc. I wish I would have known this or maybe just have worn my swimsuit onto the ship because we were in street clothes for a while before being able to change.

SHIP REVIEW

Like I said before I had never been on a cruise before this so I had no idea what to expect. Let’s start with our room, I really liked our room and felt that we had plenty of space and room for our clothes. there were three closets with tons of hanging room and hangers, and shelves and there were a lot of drawers. The bathroom had plenty of shelves to take our stuff out and actually have a place for everything. The couch was since to have because it didn’t feel like we had to sit on the bed the whole time. We were on the 10th floor with a balcony and I don’t think I will ever cruise again without being at least on the 9th or 10th floor and having a balcony because it was a nice place to escape the business of always doing something on the ship!

As for boat activities, I thought that what they had was good but I do feel like there could have maybe been more. We loved the piano bar and the Love and Marriage comedy show but there weren't THAT many things to do at night. We obviously had fun with what we had but I think a larger variety of shows would have been nice. Our cruise director, Christian, was absolutely hilarious and seemed to be EVERYWHERE and in every show. I would be interested to see what kinds of things there are to do on different cruise lines.

Amenities might have been my least favorite or the thing that I was less impressed with. We had a great spa and gym. I got a 90-minute massage on the day in the Bahamas and it was great! The gym looked really nice as well. Other things were just really outdated like the mini-golf area and the slides that really didn’t slide for lack of better words. Another thing that is a great concept is the serenity deck which was adults only, it had a private bar and two hot tubs but it was completely enclosed by glass so we were basically just in a sauna the entire time we were up there. A pool on the serenity deck would have been a nice way to cool off! The two pools that were on the ship were FULL to the brim with people the entire time they were open. Like there was ABSOLUTELY no way any of us were getting into that because EW, nobody ever got out. *insert puke emoji* It ended up being okay though because it felt like there wasn’t really time to be in the pool.

They did play movies on the deck each night and they were good ones like Uncharted with Tom Holland and Dune, The Lost City, The Matrix Resurrections, and some others! There was never a shortage of live music which we loved! The casino was actually a lot of fun and we found ourselves there quite a bit. I will also say that there were a ton of things that we didn’t make it to like a bunch of mixers (LGBTQ+, 40+, Singles, etc.), we never went to the club but they had different themes which were cool, there was a comedy show each night (in addition of the Love and Marriage one). There was a lot to do and maybe we were overwhelmed and didn’t know where to begin? I feel like we will be more willing to try new things on the next cruise!

FOOD + MY ALLERGY

The first thing I did when I got to the food court-type place was I went up to the lady that was working at the allergy desk and she sort of gave me an overview of the things that I could and couldn’t have. She told me I could always come to ask her questions or if I had any problems she said to let her know. There was always someone working at that desk which was nice just in case I needed anything extra!

Apparently, this is the ONLY picture I took of my food the entire time I was on the cruise…

I was pleasantly surprised by the options that they had for my gluten allergy. For breakfast and lunch, there were always food options for me. They had about 5 different restaurants in the main lunch area and there was only one that had no options for me which were Guy’s Burgers. And really there were options it was just a bunless burger and there were better options at other places so I just never ate there.

My favorite was the sandwich place, I was able to customize my sandwiches quite a bit because of my allergy and they always changed their gloves and made mine in the back. My favorite was the turkey wrap that I made into a sandwich and it was DELISH. I couldn’t have the fries there but that was okay, I would just go get a salad from the salad bar as my side.

Another really good option was the pizza place. They also changed gloves, cooked mine to order in the back, and had like 6 options for different kinds of pizzas for me to have. My favorite was the white sauce pizza and then I had them add mushrooms to it! It took about 5 extra minutes but it was so good and so worth the wait.

On one of the days for a snack, I got the California roll from the sushi bar but and it was VERY good, but it wasn’t included and cost $6 per roll. They also had sushi bowls but I never ended up trying that one. The last place was a Mongolian grill place and I had that on the first day. I could really only have the rice noodles and one sauce but it was good!

As for dinners, we sat in the same spot every night and got to know our waiter really well! We had about 3 people waiting on us and they were seriously the best. Each night for my allergy I would pick what I was going to have for dinner the following night. I was so impressed with all of my food options and they took such great care of me to make sure I wasn’t going to get sick. I had things like short ribs, grilled chicken, seafood pasta, bread, and butter special for me, appetizers like salads, soups, shrimp cocktail, and so many others! They would also surprise me with special things here and there like an extra appetizer that I didn’t order or a dessert that I was able to have that I didn’t know about. I LOVED their molten lava cake with ice cream and one night they surprised me with an apple streusel that was SO good!

LOOKS I BROUGHT

DAY AT THE BAHAMAS

The first full day at sea was our stop in the Bahamas. Getting off of the boat was super easy, we just scanned our cards, and off we went. It didn’t take long at all and when you got off the boat we walked up the dock and were right in the middle of all the action pretty much right away.

A few things to note, be prepared to be bombarded with offers to be taken to the beach, offers to have your hair braided, rides to Atlantis, and offers to buy pretty much anything under the sun. We didn’t get an excursion this day because none of us had been to the island before. We all agreed that we wish we would have gotten an excursion because getting off of the ship we had so much freedom to do whatever we wanted and not a lot of direction of where to go.

We ended up walking to the beach that was next to Margaritaville and the waterpark. When we got there, there were a couple of people selling beach chairs for $10 a chair and an umbrella for $15. We got two chairs, and an umbrella and decided to get in the water! The water was crystal clear and absolutely gorgeous, not to mention all of the fish that were around us! It was so pretty! There were a ton of people though who seemed like they might have been in our boat of not knowing where to go so we all ended up at the first beach we found. But even though there were a ton of people it wasn’t that crowded in the actual water.

After being at the beach we decided to head back to the boat for lunch but stopped and did some shopping along the way to get a few souvenirs. I was a bit nervous about eating on the island with my allergy because I had no way of knowing where I could eat or where to even start. To get back on the boat, again, was a super easy process. We gave the people at the border patrol area our driver’s licenses and our ID cards from the ship. Then we walked back up the dock to the ship and went through a security sensor, scanned our ID cards and that was it! Getting back to the ship was even faster than getting off because when we were leaving SO many people were leaving but when we were coming back, people were just sort of trickling back at different times.

When we all got back to the boat we went up to the room and got changed to head down for lunch! When we were sitting there at lunch we were talking with my parents about how it might have been easier to prebook an excursion and that it might have felt a bit less chaotic trying to figure out what we were doing. Which was totally our fault and not the cruise lines at all. But now I feel more prepared going forward! After lunch, I was absolutely exhausted so I took a nap and read on the balcony a bit before dinner festivities started.

After dinner, we went to this comedy show called Love and Marriage where they brought couples up on stage and asked them both the same question and then compared answers. It was hilarious! After that, we went to the piano bar which is where we ended all but one of our evenings. It was a blast and Felicia, the singer, was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was so much fun!

DAY AT THEIR PRIVATE ISLAND

This was a much more calm day. We had an excursion planned and everything went pretty smoothly. We had breakfast and then headed down to the small boats that were taking us over to the island. Once we were over there we waited for the boat driver and then got on their boat which took us to an area to scuba dive. I cannot stress this enough, TAKE DRAMAMINE before you get off the cruise ship. The smaller boats are really hard to be on for a long time. Also if you do get seasick and you are on an excursion, my advice is to stay in the water and float- DO NOT get back on the boat, you will feel AWFUL. The snorkeling was really cool and we saw SO many fish!

After we were done with the snorkeling excursion we headed back to the boat to have lunch and layout on the Serenity deck! We read and relaxed and I napped in one of the canopy things that they had. After that, it was time to go shower and get ready for dinner. Dinner was great as usual and then we decided to go to the casino for a while and then we listened to some live music that was in the Red Frog Pub. We came here a few times for different periods of time for the music and the games. It was usually pretty chill in there!

After going on this cruise we would and will 100000% be going on more cruises! For starters, it is SO easy to go on them very affordably living here in Orlando. We would be able to do last-minute cruises at a discounted price and that is so nice! Another thing is that we like the ability to see a lot of different places in one trip. We spent so much time on this cruise planning and searching for new cruises to go on. We want to try ALLL of the cruise lines though, we want to know which ones we like and don’t like. Obviously, a Disney Cruise would be a dream as well. We can’t wait for the next one and I will share all the things with that one as well! If you have any questions or feel like I left something out, PLEASE don’t hesitate to ask! You can comment below or email me at tarynintotravel@gmail.com and I will get back to you there if that is better for you!

My Recent Favorite Documentaries

MY RECENT FAVORITE DOCUMENTARIES

This is a little different than my normal posts but I am loving documentaries lately and I just wanted to share some of my favorites with you guys! There are tons of different animals but I also have some others on the list that I am loving as well! I would love to know your guys’ favorites as well if you wanted to comment what they are below the post!

 1. America’s National Parks - This documentary is so neat, each episode is a deep look into each national Park throughout the United States. I really like the episodes on the Everglades and the Great Smoky Mountains!

 2. Secrets of the Whales - I have actually watched this one two times now, I watched it once by myself but then another time with Dustin because I loved it so much. They have four episodes but I love the one with the belugas! They take in a narwhal and it becomes a part of their pod which is so cool!

 3. Into the Grand Canyon - This one was a little different than what I usually watch but it’s about two friends that hike the 750 miles of the Grand Canyon and it was really cool to watch.

 4. Growing Up Animal - I loved this documentary, there are four episodes and each episode follows the journey of a baby animal. It’s really cool and I ended up learning more than I even know I could! Especially the episode about the bears!!

 5. Elephant - I watched this one for the first time at the beginning of quarantine and I think I have watched it over five times at this point. I love watching the baby elephant Jomo grow up, he’s literally the cutest. But it takes you through the elephant’s whole journey for a year and it is really fascinating!

 6. Baby Sharks - This is a newer one to me since Shark Week was about to start I figured this was a good place to start. You learn about a few different kinds of baby sharks and their first few months in the ocean! There are sharks in this documentary that I honestly didn’t even know were species. Defiantly a good one!

 7. Kingdom of the Mummies - Again, this isn’t the kind of documentary that I usually watch but Egypt is on the top of my bucket list and I wanted to learn something different. I learned SO much from this one and I love the people that are on the crew doing this research project as well, they are so smart!

 8. Secrets of the Zoo: Down Under - This documentary is more for entertainment but just takes you through the day-to-day lives and struggles of the people working at the zoo. They share different information and knowledge that the different veterinarians and technicians know about the animals, giving it a different perspective than you usually get.

 9. Wild Chile - I love this whole Wild series of documentaries but this one is probably my favorite. I think I like this one so much because it shares animals that aren’t usually taught about. It also talks about the different climates that are so close to one another in this area which just blows my mind.

 10. America the Beautiful - This is a newer documentary that came out and it is narrated by Michael B Jordan, he does an incredible job and I think it might be why I like this one so much! But it just shares a few different animal perspectives in each episode. Also, each episode is in a different area which is neat!

 11. Great Migrations - This is SUCH a fascinating series. Each episode just goes through the different reasons that animals have a migration pattern and then shares more about it. Things like breeding, eating, surviving, that kind of thing. Definitely cool to watch and it talks about a variety of different animals that have migration patterns!

 12. Wild Central America - This is another one in the Wild series that I really liked. I mainly liked this one because the first episode is on Costa Rica and that place is just incredible to me and I want to learn everything that I can about it! The other episode is on Guatemala and it was equally as cool as the Costa Rica episode was!

Recent Target Finds

RECENT TARGET FINDS

I created so many categories (unintentionally) for this blog post. I didn’t realize how many things I have recently purchased that I haven’t been sharing with you all. I wanted to be sure that I didn’t miss anything, so I listed all of the items, broke them up into categories, and made graphics for each. Some of the categories have two items, and some of them have ten items! But I am excited to finally be sharing this post with you all!

I know that I have been pretty MIA for a bit but that definitely didn’t mean I stopped going to Target. I figured there wasn’t a better way to share all my recent Target purchases than to put them all into one giant blog post for you all! If you think I missed anything or have any questions, please feel free to ask me! You can comment below or you can send me an email at tarynintotravel@gmail.com and I will get back to you there!

OUAI BODY LOTION

I got a sample of this in one of my Ipsy bags I believe and I will 1000% be purchasing a full sized version of this item when I run out of the sample size. But I will probably refill the sample size with some of the big tub because it’s perfect for traveling. The lotion isn’t super watery but it isn’t too thick. I like thicker lotion when I really want some moisture but when I am just quickly trying to put lotion on I like this consistency better!

UGLY LOVE BY COLLEEN HOOVER

This book is WOW so good, I read it in two days and thats coming from someone who really doesn’t read that often. Its a developing love story between two neighbors and it is just so good! But I do think this book has sparked the reading bug in me because since this book I have read 5 more books! I really realized in the last few weeks that TikTok and Instagram make me more anxious with all the news of the world and books make me happy. So I have been spending my time reading and less on social media. A couple other books I have read lately are People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry, Living Fully by Mallory Ervin, Strangers in the House by Shari Lapena, and The Last Mrs. Parish by Liv Constantine to name a few. I am also in the middle of November 9 by Colleen Hoover and Then Came You by Jill Shalvis!

WHITE TENNIS SKIRT FROM AMAZON

I didn’t think I would ever be jumping on the tennis skirt trend but here we are! I found one at TJ Maxx and tried it on and loved it. Naturally I went to Amazon to find another one because I wanted to share it with you guys. Its fun when I find things that I really like at TJ Maxx but then I cant share it with you guys and I really hate that. So this one on Amazon, I found and I love the fit of it and that it is ruffled in the back but not in the front. I got the size XL and the color white. I can’t wait to wear it in the parks, I think it will be perfect with my Kingdom Threads Co Tees!

OTOFLY PHONE CASE

I was a little worried when it was less than $15 but after reading the reviews and using it for the last month or more and I am very impressed! I love the color of it and there were so many other options, like not kidding probably 20 other color options. Dustin even ordered one for his phone and loves it as well! Definitely a good buy and very affordable for a phone case that will actually protect my phone!

BRAIDED HUGGIE HOOP EARRINGS

I have actually had these earrings for over a year but somehow misplaced them for the last several months and found them again in May and somehow found a way to wear them almost every time I needed earrings. These are the perfect earrings that aren’t studs but aren’t like a crazy hoop. They are perfect for everyday wear and I love them! They have lasted for me for a long time and I love the clasp of the earring that it doesn’t need a back, which makes it so much easier!

Summer Wedding Guest Dress Ideas

SUMMER WEDDING GUEST DRESS IDEAS

We have a lot of wedding festivities this summer and into the fall and I was shopping for some dress options for me to wear and I figured why not share them with you guys as well! All of these options are from Amazon because of the time crunch that I had to get something to wear but I found TONS of options and I am going to share them all with you. I am talking like 16 dresses showed up to my house to try on and I am going to share my thoughts with you to spare you from ordering just as many as I did to find a good one! There are two sections, one is summer wedding guest dresses and then the other is bridal shower guest dresser. Later on in the year I will be sharing Nashville bachelorette outfit ideas and then fall/winter wedding guest dress ideas with you guys as well!

LIGHT PURPLE FLORAL FRONT TIE DRESS - This is the dress but I chose to wear to the wedding. I got the stress in an extra large and it fit perfectly. The waste is elastic and the front ties to make it as loose or tight as you need it to be on your chest. It came in like 20 other colors but I really liked the light purple for spring! I am going to wear this dress with my heels from Target and a clutch that is the same nude color! I think I am also going to curl my hair with my latest hair tool obsession, I will link it here!

EMERALD GREEN PUFF SLEEVE DRESS - this is the other option that I got, but I think I’m going to wear it to the rehearsal dinner. It has an elastic waist and then ties in the back to keep the sleeves in place so they don’t slide down your shoulders. I was worried when I first bought the dress that it would keep falling down my shoulders but the elastic is perfect and keeps them up! Again the stress comes in a ton of colors, I was going back and forth between the emerald and the lavender! I got the XL and it fits so well! I’m going to wear the same nude heels from Target!

SUMMER WEDDING GUEST DRESSES

I knew that I was going to need a dress for the wedding that we are going to this weekend but for some reason it took me wayyyyy too long to begin to look for a dress. I wanted something nicer but nothing super over the top. I went with darker greens and blues and some purples thrown in as the colors I wanted to look for. I found a TON of options and ordered them all basically as a last ditch time restricted effort. I ordered 11 dresses to try for the wedding and I found a couple that I liked on my body. I only kept two and I will write about why i kept each of them!

SUMMER BRIDAL SHOWER GUEST IDEAS

When I started looking for options for the wedding I figured I should find a few options for the bridal shower I am going to because it was the following weekend! I wanted something a little more casual but not too casual. When I first started looking I had a romper in mind but actually found a lot of dress options that I liked as well! Again, I am going to give a recap of each piece and how I liked it below!

3 Day Disney Staycation

THREE DAY DISNEY STAYCATION

A few weeks back my cousin Taylor and I had a little 3 Day Disney staycation at the parks while my husband hosted a bachelor party at our house. We were SO excited and were really ready to pretty much be at the parks from open to close all three of the days. One thing that I was actually a little sad about when we first were moving to Orlando was missing those trips to Disney where you open to close everyday and go go go. I was worried that being able to go whenever we wanted was going to make some of the magic go away. BUUUT, that really didn’t happen at all which I am so happy about! In this post I will talk about where we stayed, what rides we did on each day, what foods we ate and any other details that happened during our staycation!

WHERE WE STAYED

Originally we wanted to stay at one of the value resorts like All Star Movies or All-Star Music Resort but those were sold out and we ultimately chose to just get an airbnb because of the amount of time we we would really be in the room each day. The location of our Airbnb was seriously perfect, less than a 10 minute drive to all of the places that we needed to go. We drove to and from the location as well as took Uber’s to get to some of the spots and we didn’t have trouble with it at all. The airbnb had a nice bathroom, a kitchenette, a living room and two queen beds in the bedroom. It was almost like a hotel suite and it was perfect for the three nights that we stayed. It was $80 a night and completely worth it. I should also mention that our host was very responsive, helpful and we would definitely stay here again! I put photos and some extra info to the listing below!

DAY 1 - CITY WORKS

We both worked on this day but we wanted to kick off our Disney weekend with dinner at Disney Springs. We chose to go to City Works! It wasn’t the first time we had gone there but its always good and never really disappoints. Especially with its ever-changing menu and its basically unlimited amount of good drinks. We love the cider flights and they have a lot of good wine as well! City Works is over by the movie theater and Splitsville. I wish I had taken pictures when I have gone in the past but I will add more of them to this blog post when we go in the future! I wrote a whole City Works Gluten Free Review and you can read that here! There are tons of restaurants in Disney Springs, you can read about our favorites here! We love going to Disney Springs because they take such good care of me with my allergy and I know I won’t be getting glutened here!

DAY 2 - Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios Day

Magic Kingdom - You can read my 10 Tips for Magic Kingdom, here!

Rides we rode at Magic Kingdom:

 1. Pirates of the Caribbean

 2. Big Thunder Mountain

 3. Space Mountain

 4. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

Lunch - Columbia Harbor House, I had the chicken fingers, shocking I know! I haven’t done a full review on this yet but I will at some point because this it pretty much where I eat every time I am at Magic Kingdom.

After lunch we decided to head over to Hollywood Studios and ride some rise so we wouldn’t have such a long day on Sunday . We took the bus over to Hollywood Studios and it only took about 20 minutes total to get on the bus, get to the park and then get into HS. I would recommend getting from park to park like this! We stayed at Hollywood Studios from about 2:30 to close and then took the bus back over to Magic Kingdom to close out the park and ride a couple more rides before it closed!

Rides we rode at Hollywood Studios:

 1. Tower of Terror

 2. Rock N’ Roller Coaster

Dinner: We ate at Woody’s Lunch Box, I have eaten here a bunch of times and in the last two times I have gotten the magically delicious totchos that they have. I found out that they can be made gluten free and you can taste literally no difference, they are amazing! Its tater tots, Fritos, chili, a gravy of some sort, chives, queso and sour cream. I literally can’t think of a better combination of foods to go together than the way these do!

DAY 3 - EPCOT

Rides we rode at Epcot:

 1. Test Track

 2. Frozen Ever After

 3. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

 4. Soarin’

Where we ate:

Lunch: For the first time, we tried eating at the The Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavilion! I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and OH MY GOSH, I didn’t even know I needed this meal in my life! It was so so so good!

Dinner/Snack: I had the House-made Italian Sausage and Peppers Poutine - Refreshment Port. I have had these like 4 times now and DANG, its good. You would never guess that it is a vegan dish! But it is a must for me at the Flower and Garden Festival!

What we drank:

Mexico: Blood Orange Margarita from La Cava Del Tequila

Norway: Troll Krum from the cart in Norway

China:  Honey Hibiscus Hard Iced Tea drink at Joy of Tea

Morocco: Pomegranate Acai from the Spice Road Table Bar

DAY 4- ANIMAL KINGDOM

Animal Kingdom - You can read my 10 Tips for Animal Kingdom, here!

RIDES WE RODE:

 1. Flight of Passage

 2. Dinosaur {one of my all time favorites}

 3. Expedition Everest {it was finally open again and we rode it probably 6 times!}

Where we ate:

Lunch - We had an early lunch at Restaurantosaurus, we just happened to be in DinoLand and it was close! I had the gluten free chicken nuggets and those really never disappoint! I almost always get these when I am at Animal Kingdom! You can read my full Restaurantosaurus Gluten Free Review here!

Afternoon snack: We both got our own orders of the buffalo chicken chips that are at the little cart right outside of Dinoland called Trilobites! They are potato chips with buffalo chicken on top and then they put sour cream, diced tomatoes and celery on top and it is SO GOOD. I have all of my Animal Kingdom Gluten Free Favorites written in this post here! I hope that you find it helpful if you are planning a trip to Disney World and are feeling overwhelmed by the gluten free menus!

Walmart Beauty Must Haves

Walmart Beauty Must Haves

NYX BUTTER GLOSS IN CREME BRULEE - I have this gloss in a few colors at this point! I have Creme Brûlée, Tiramisu, Vanilla Cream Pie, Fortune Cookie and Praline! I love them for putting on top of lip stick or by itself!

MILANI BAKED BLISH IN ROSE D’ORO - Another random find from Walmart but that was about three years ago and I have repurchased it since then! It is just a good gloss for on top of lip stick! I will also put it on top of my Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Glosses for more shine!

ABSOLUTE HD FLAWLESS SETTING POWDER - I have only had this once but it is a really nice powder. I go back and forth with this one and another one. There really isn’t a difference but I like that it doesn’t crease or feel too cakey. Its just a nice powder to set my makeup!

NEUTROGENA MAKEUP REMOVER WIPE SINGLES - I don’t usually use these unless I am traveling. They are super convenient in the individual use packaging. I have them in my guest bathroom for guests and I have a couple in my car for more emergency purposes! But handy for sure!

GARNIER MICELLAR CLEANSING WATER - This is what I use to take off my makeup daily. I like that it takes one or two cotton pads or I can use reusable ones as well. It takes my makeup completely off and I like that it doesn’t feel oily on my skin when I am done!

PALMERS COCONUT OIL BODY LOTION - I literally have a bottle of this in my nightstand, in my bathroom, in the guest bathroom and in my office. I love this lotion, it doesnt make my skin feel gross. Its super hydrating and super affordable!

ALMAY LIP VIBES LIPSTICK IN SKIP THE GYM & ALMAY LIP VIBES LIPSTICK IN NEVER FORGET - I did a whole blog post on this brand of lipstick a few years ago and I still reach for it most of the time! I will link the blog post for you guys here. I had 6 in this blog post and since then I have probably acquired 4-5 more of them. I just love how easy they are!

CERAVE HYDRATING FACIAL CLEANSER - This is the cleanser that I use to wash my face. I like using it in the shower because I hate when the water runs down my arms. But I saw a trick to use scrunchies around your wrists to keep that from happening, so I will have to try that! But I have used this cleanser for about 3 years and love it!

OLAY CLEANSING & NOURISHING BODY WASH - I am on my third bottle of this body wash and I really like it. Its not super drying and it smells fantastic! I also love the pump which is easy to use in the shower.

REVLON ONE-STEP VOLUMIZER - I have had this hot tool for about 5 years and LOVE it. It dries my short hair so easily and I love the way that my hair feels when its done. It volumizes and smoothes my hair perfectly. I can’t recommend it enough. Its usually on all of my gift guides!

MAYBELLINE LIFTER GLOSS IN REEF - Another great topper gloss, this one isn’t too sticky and I like that its a bit plumping! But it doesn’t hurt or burn like some other ones that I have tried. Its high shine to give a fuller looking lip. I really like it! I think that Reef is the perfect shade.

EQUATE EPSOM SALT SHEA BUTTER AND ALMOND OIL - I am a big bath person and I usually add epsom salt and or a bath bomb to each of my baths. I love this shade butter and almond oil formula because it is super hydrating on my skin!

COVERGIRL SKIN MILK FOUNDATION IN 520 FAIR - I have had this in my makeup bag for who knows how long and just recently rediscovered it! I usually just use a tinted moisturizer but when I want a little more coverage for like going out or date night or something, I will use this and its so nice on my skin! Its bailable and fantastic. I am in shade 520 fair!

REVLON SUPER LUSTROUS LIP GLOSS IN SANDSTORM - I know I have said this twice now but this is really another great gloss for topping a lip color. But this one I also really like on its own. It has an oranges tint to it and perfect for spring and summer! It pairs well with my Almay lip colors!
